Julie + Adam a beach wedding in Barnstable Share

Julie and Adam were married at a private residence which overlooks the oceanfront in Barnstable. It was an idyllic setting for a beach wedding with a stuning view of Barnstable Harbor and an amazing sunset for the guests to enjoy. Here is a preview with more photographs to follow later this week.

After their ceremony at St. Michael's Parish in North Andover then is was off to their reception at the Hillview Country Club in North Reading.

Ivy + Robbie on Martha's Vineyard Part II Share

We promised you more photographs from Ivy + Robbie's wedding on Martha's Vineyard. Today we'll share their beautiful ceremony on South Beach in Edgartown.

Ivy and her Dad await their walk down the beach for the ceremony.

Cool refreshments awaited their guests as they arrived at the beach.

Ivy looked absolutely radiant waiting to join her groom.

The white hydrangeas were breathtaking against the blue maids dresses.

We were able to create some amazing photographs of Ivy, Robbie and their bridal party. But we're saving those for another day....

Ivy + Robbie on Martha's Vineyard Share

Ivy + Robbie selected Martha's Vineyard as the location for their beach wedding. Ivy's family have been summer residents on the island for 3 generations. Thankfully, we had perfect weather after several weeks of rain.

The bridesmaid's gowns look so beautiful in the beach setting. The bouquets of hydrangeas are quintessentially Martha's Vineyard.

E+S at The Overlook Part II Share

A few weeks ago, we shared a few images from the wedding of E+S at The Overlook in Charlton.  They are amazing individuals and together an incredible couple!  It was such an honor for us to be a part of their wedding day.  Here are some additional photographs....

I was with E as she finished her final preparations for the day.

While Chris was with S getting some solo pictures and him with his groomsmen.

Since the wedding was in early March, the majority of the pictures occurred indoors.  The breathtaking staircase at the Overlook.

E was absolutely radiant the entire day!  The angelic quality of this photograph definately compliments her sweat personality.

The next series of pictures illustrates the versatility that two photographers can create.  While Chris was shooting the first picture of E + S on the staircase, I took the next two pictures within seconds of each other.  Staying in the same position and altering the camera settings allowed me to create dramatic differences in the style.

Chris captured this tender moment of E watching as her Mom is being escorted down the aisle. (There was a tiny window that allowed her to see)

S's brother was the officiant presiding over their ceremony and in this picture is every bit the big brother.

First dance!  DJ Greg Bedard did a fantastic job as the master of ceremonies.

E + S were so generous and slipped away for a few moments to capture some photographs as evening fell.

A quiet moment together while waiting for their car to whisk them away on their honeymoon!

E+S Wedding at the Overlook Share

Just a few pictures as a teaser for a wedding we shot just last weekend. We had never shot at the Overlook in Charlton, MA before and were pleasently surprised by its 1920's charm and beautiful staircase. The Overlook was a hotel many years ago and still has the old style gilt edged safe and telephone switch board in the main lobby. The exterior also offers some nice outside shooting possibilities, especially around twilight.
